saving mother earth drive...

Somehow you would be saddened to go to the mountain and realize how much man's selfishness has denuded its trees. We haven't been grateful to nature, in reality. We simply abuse it and do things for personal gain. We then, have no right to complain when heavy rains would wash out our houses and fill our highways with water. If we cannot be responsible for the gift of nature, then maybe God would rather take it away from us so we'll realize its importance to our existence.

ON a one fine cold morning, the school administrators, the faculty and staff went on a tree planting activity. The trudge wasn't easy though, we had to walk for few kilometers to get there while dealing with the muddy and slippery pathways and a little rainshower outpouring the area. We were also warned of the endangered animals that we might see upon climbing the mountains. The trek was challenging but as we reached the area while bringing with us young trees to plant, we felt like we see hope for us and for mother earth..

just poses to ease the long and tedious walk..
worth it all..:)
I remain hopeful that it's not yet too late for us to save our nature. And that we can still do something to at least alleviate this global warming.

"For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver. " ~ Martin Luther
